About Chennai
Chennai is a metropolitan city in Southern India. Though it was initially developed by the British East India Company as Madras, it gained identity as the cultural capital of India post-independence. Much of it can be attributed when in 1882, the headquarters of the Theosophical Society and its movement was moved to Madras by H. P Blavatsky. During the month of December, the city is a global sensation, as the Madras Margazhi Festival, the longest Music and Dance Festival in the world is organised. Mahabalipuram, the ancient port city located on the Coromandel coast, is a UNESCO heritage destination making Chennai the appropriate location for The Beauty Path.

The feature of this camp is not just for developing aesthetic sensibilities like excellence or appreciation for traditions and beauty, but for also developing a cultural identity in young adults. Traditional learning which give a lot of emphasis on learning by experiencing knowledge will be instrumental in uplifting the musical sensibilities of the campers.
